Eldar Mamedov
Eldar Mamedov has worked as a Latvian diplomat in Madrid and Washington DC. Between 2009 and 2024, Mamedov served as a political advisor in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, and was in charge of the delegations for inter-parliamentary relations with Iran, Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula. Mamedov is a non-resident fellow at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft and a member of the Pugwash Council on Science and World Affairs, a Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization dedicated to seeking a world free of nuclear weapons and other WMDs.
